Film Music Summer Camp
In this workshop, we will explore simple and accesible tools that students can use to compose music for a film project. This may include a scene from a film, an animated video, or a short clip.
Workshop Structure:
Introduction: Overview of the basic principles and structural elements of film music.
Practical Session: Familiarization with music technology tools suitable for beginners in composing for moving image.
Creative Activity: Individual or pair work to compose a simple musical piece for a short clip, video animation, or film scene.
Objectives:
To become familiar with basic techniques and creative approaches in film music, and to understand the interaction between music and image.
To gain practical experience with music technology tools.
To explore the dynamic relationship between image and sound through the creation of a short project.
To investigate how music can be integrated into educational programmes, fostering students’ creativity, collaboration, and artistic thinking.
