Young Composers February Half-Term Camp (Ages 8–11)

Our Young Composers Camp is a creative and engaging introduction to the world of composition, designed for children aged 8–11 who are curious about how music is made. Over three days, students will explore melody, rhythm, harmony, and musical storytelling through guided listening, creative exercises, and hands-on composing.

Children will be encouraged to experiment, share ideas, and develop their own musical voices in a supportive, small-group setting. The camp focuses on imagination, confidence, and musical thinking, while gently introducing the building blocks of composition in a way that feels accessible and inspiring.

No prior composition experience is required — just curiosity, openness, and a love of music.

When is camp?
